Workshop: Getting started with Digital Support

Course description

In this workshop we will look at how we might not be as uninitiated in the digital world as we thought we were. As a starting position, we will self-assess using the Digital Competence Assessment Grid and a self-realisation of how we currently use our digital devices. Then we will examine how the use of digital support goes through a transition process which will be explained by the SAMR Taxonomy. This leads us to our first step of Substitution and going digital/paperless which will be demonstrated by: • Using what you know: Office 365: Word, Outlook; PowerPoint & Excel • My digital blackboard – PowerPoint (Scan, Snip, hyperlink and insert) • Organisation: Explore and OneDrive Finally, what steps I can now do and possible training: ECDL/SIZ Prerequisites: English at C1 level

What our customers have to say about us

I found the CELTA course at TLC Baden to be very professional and would recommend anyone to attend courses there.

It was an intensive but nevertheless extremely rewarding experience. Support from my tutors left nothing to be desired, as far as the promptness with which it was provided to me and its quality are concerned. Moreover, without their help, I don't think I would have been able to benefit as much as I did from the course.

I am glad I did the course. I find that it is difficult to achieve a B even with good results.
